Why Replace When You Can Repair?
Broken, cracked, or sunken concrete can be costly and time consuming to replace. Utilizing a concrete application called mudjacking, we can restore your driveways, patios, and sidewalks like new; saving you time and money in the process!
What is Mudjacking?
Mudjacking (also known as slab jacking, concrete lifting, concrete raising, and slab leveling) is a repair technique for lifting settling concrete slabs. First, small holes are carefully drilled into the sinking concrete slabs. Then a mixture of water, soil, sand and cement, referred to as “slurry” or “mud", is pumped underneath the settled slab to lift and stabilize it. Once the concrete is raised to the desired level, the hole is patched over and tooled off.
What are the savings over concrete replacement?
-
Money – Repair costs are one-half to one-third less than the cost of concrete replacement.
-
Time – The area can be used immediately, versus days or weeks with new concrete. (4-6 hours for vehicle traffic)
Also, you aren't limited to warm weather months to get the job done. Mudjacking can be done in virtually any weather.
-
Effort – You don’t have to prep the area for the application. The pump is able to lift the weight of the slab and anything you have on it.
